Our Story.
To our friends and community,
When I graduated college in 2019 from George Mason University, I struggled for nearly a year in isolation without solid friendships and community.
Through the grace of local parish involvement and an independent Catholic men’s group I pioneered with two buddies of mine, I began to build the authentic friendships I was longing for.
In 2021, I launched DC Social Collective as a COVID effort in helping restore and rebuild young adult community that was lost to the pandemic. In just two years, I have now helped hundreds of young adults across DC, MD, and VA like myself find and build authentic connections with each other in a community of 4,000+ members.

What is DC Social Collective (DSC)?
DC Social Collective is a young adult event management company and thriving community with over 4,000 members across DC, Maryland, and Virginia. We specialize in curating unforgettable events that bring people together—whether it's to dance, connect, or celebrate.
What’s the typical age range at your events?
Most of our community falls in the 20s to early 30s range. While the sweet spot is early, mid, and late 20s, all young adults ages 18–35 are welcome.
Do you only host parties?
Not at all. While we love a good celebration, DSC is about intentional community-building. We produce a wide range of events—from formal galas and rooftop soirees to fundraisers, live music nights, and seasonal farm dances—all designed to create connection and joy.
Do I need to be Catholic to attend?
Nope. While our roots are in uniting young adults from various Catholic parishes, we’re proud to welcome people of all faiths (and none). If you're looking for meaningful community, you’ll fit right in.
Is DSC a singles group?
We’re not a dating group—but we do bring great people together. Our events are designed for everyone: singles, couples, and anyone in between. And yes, we’ve had more than a few couples meet at DSC events and get married—no pressure, though.
